Dear all,

Just wanted to say thankyou for all your help with my swimming. I did my first Olympic tri at MK at the w/e, and was so chuffed to do the swim in 23minutes 25seconds. My overall time was 2hr 32minutes 30seconds.

So delighted, clearly the doggy paddle is doing something (which is good as the street cred hasn't recovered!)

Will definately be back for more.

"Matt here - I was at two of your courses, one at the back end of last year and the other at start of this year. I have just had the time to analyse both of the DVDs you sent me following the completion of an 8 week course and I thought I'd share this with you.

Here are the results of my first four lengths following Course 1:
Time
100m ( ish ) - 1.58
Average stroke count per length - 41

Following Course 2:
Time
100 ( ish ) - 1.39
Average stroke count per length - 32

So an impressive results which is obviously due to the development of a far superior stroke and only occurred over one eight week period. And I wasn't really practising on my own!"

"Thanks for the swim critique, dvd and the countless tips and encouragement over the Wednesday night course. The course has injected me with new found confidence in my swimming and helped tremendously towards my goal of completing the full London triathlon in a couple of weeks time. My pool based 1500m time has come down from struggling to do it in over 41 minutes to a (relatively!) comfortable time under 38 minutes, I hope to get this down even more over the next few weeks. Look forward to seeing you all soon at events in the future!"

"Had a good session tonight in the last course 8 Swim for Tri session. Great first experience of what drafting and being bashed around by stronger swimmers feels like. I have benefited so much from the Swim for Tri sessions. Before I started the course I had swum a few 400m sets and 1 x 800m set but now I am swimming 1 mile sets with relative comfort in pools and the Tooting Bec Lido. Wanting to keep this improvement going I have also now signed up to course 8A ie the next batch of Weds sessions."

"I really enjoyed Saturday, although I was exhausted and fell asleep Saturday afternoon! Meeting the others taking part and chatting to experienced triathletes about the races I've entered also helped with some of the nerves about swimming in Lakes and Docks rather than a nice clean swimming pools.

"First of all a HUGE thank you to all of you for helping me to get it RIGHT! After struggling without an eye to oversee & a voice to encourage most of the time it was ab fab; love learning & I am doing my best to change those old habits...so watch out for a better streamlined Sue - might even fit into a smaller cossie one day as a bonus (I do like my food so the exercise is slowly & carefully being increased...not the portions!). Was impressed by how quickly, & accurately, you all analysed our strengths & weaknesses but more importantly by the personal (humane?!) enthusiastic & practical way it was communicated...& with a lively sense of humour.

"I haven't seen you since I bought my DVD player and finally got round to watching the DVD which is excellent. Seeing the drills done properly makes such a difference. I watch it before I go off for my session - it's definitely helped a great deal.
